Sue and Anna, two intrepid activists from Edinburgh, visited Glasgow for the day with leaflets and petitions. They spent 6 to 7
hours talking to people about the anti-ban campaign, distributing material, and found that there was little awareness of resistance
but much interest in what they had to say. They recommend this approach as a way to communicate with people about the effects of the
ban and tell them that there are meetings and challenges going on even though the media don't report them.
The girls would be grateful to receive any offers of help to spread the word to pubs and clubs in Glasgow and the surrounding
areas. Also, anyone wanting to form teams in their own local areas but needs help, advice and support from us, please contact
