Truth will out, and by God we’ve waited long enough for this truth to surface! Blair, Brown, Cameron? Nothing but liars and fraudsters as they hide the truth from the British people, yet also seek to evade their European masters as the SBS (Smoking Ban Swindle) is laid bare for all to see.
In March 2010, The Guardian ran with the story that air pollution could easily be the cause of 50,000 deaths per annum, a figure that dwarfs the alleged 11,000 deaths per annum ’caused’ by passive smoking, as claimed by Cancer Research UK on their website! Yet the Guardian report has been totally ignored by the media as they, under government direction, beat the anti-smoking drum on a daily basis.
However, this week, that same newspaper produced an in-depth report on just how Blair, Brown and Cameron all failed to tackle air pollution and even attempted (and still are attempting) to move the goalposts to avoid massive fines imposed by the EU. The Guardian goes so far as to call this government to book because it has deliberately allowed the mass poisoning of its own people for nearly 20 years. To add insult, it has just changed the rules to ensure that it can pass the £300m of fines it stands to incur every year, for missing European standards, on to local authorities.
So, there you have it folks: little has changed since the 1950s, when thousands died annually from “pea souper” smogs caused largely by coal burning, except that you can barely see today’s photochemical pollution from traffic. There are good EU laws and WHO guidelines on air pollution now, but successive central and local governments have not just failed to act, but continually tried to evade their legal responsibilities. They are quite happy to blame as many deaths as possible on smoking and the presence of smokers so as to evade the real issue – AIR POLLUTION.
It’s estimated that Air Pollution costs this country £20bn pa – that rather puts the NHS smoking costs of a mere £2.7bn pa in the petty cash tin, doesn’t it? So not only does our ‘ragbag’ administration ignore the health of our people, they also twist and manipulate the truth so as to avoid the penalties – yet woe betide any mortal soul who tries that in our courts!
Funny how ‘birds come home to roost’ as we look back at the work of Dr Kitty Little, whose studies revealed that as diesel usage increased so did lung cancer cases – which undermines Sir Richard Doll’s theories of smoking and lung cancer, formulated by 1964. In fact, Sir Richard’s own published data shows that people who inhale cigarette smoke were at less risk from lung cancer than those who didn’t!
Much of Dr. Little’s work was ignored as it didn’t suit the mood of the WHO, who were already formulating Tobacco Control, but she was bang on the nail. Now, hopefully, her prodigious efforts in this field will be afforded their true recognition. As surely as the truth behind all the lies, manipulated statistics and junk science is slowly surfacing, so should Dr Kitty’s work on air pollution and diesel fumes! And, interestingly, Dr Kitty was very well versed on the way this country is being taken apart piece by piece!
