It appears that the Greeks have given a resounding thumbs down to their recently introduced smoking ban.
Let’s face it, there’s only the odd country that has a ban as draconian as ours. Most EU countries accommodate for everyone.
After 7 weeks, they were close to breaking the record of the EU Parliament that rejected it after just 6 weeks.
Well done the Greeks for standing their ground. It’s a shame that only a mere 8% of our licensees want a full ban, yet only their voices are heard.
What about the remaining 92%?
It’s not law yet, but what’s good enough for the goose is surely good enough for the gander.
Well done the Greeks for standing their ground against this inhumane and unjust law that our politicians regularly refuse to adopt.
