It’s almost Autumn, the time when leaves turn to gold and red – and the time when the thoughts of UK Tobacco Controllers turn once more to urging smokers to quit during the campaign month of ‘Stoptober’.
F2C members and supporters include smokers, ex-smokers, and never-smokers. We would not discourage anyone from stopping smoking: it is, after all, their free choice.
However, for those who wish to continue smoking (or are tired of being nagged), there is again this year a counter-campaign called ‘Octabber’, launched by Pat Nurse.
In particular, Pat would like to hear comments, statements and stories from people who want to continue to smoke.
