Labour party peers have been pushing for a smoking ban in cars today when children are present. For the sake of the chiiildren. It has been sneaked into the Children and Families Bill.

In the end, the amendment was backed by 222 vs 197 against. It now passes to the House of Commons where MPs will have a free vote.
